Mehdi Amiri CEO & Founder of Parsnews Austria Group

Mehdi Amiri, was born in 1957 AC  in Sabzevar, in 1976, after graduating with his Diploma  in mathematics from Asrar High School in Sabzevar, at the age of 19, left Iran to continue his studies in England and after completing  his A-levels at  NORTHTRAFFOERD College in Manchester, graduated from LEEDS UNIVERSITY in 1981 with a degree in Computational Science.

After his Gradution from  leeds university in  England , he traveled to VIENNA in November 1981, the capital city  of Austria, just for a short  trip to visit his brother and has been livingin in this beautiful city for more than 39 years now.

Mehdi Amiri  loves the city of Vienna and is not willing to live in any other place  in the world , except Vienna!

Mehdi has two daughters  both of whom were born in Vienna, and most likely, the birth of his children in Vienna is one of the most important reasons for his intense love for this city!

In 2002, he launched his first website in German called kostfastnix, which is still very popular among Farsi , English and German speakers!

He blogged from about 2008 to 2010 and shared his short daily writings under the pseudonym BOBBY with his compatriots in a blog called Babajun.
Many of his writings have been republished on Iranian websites and in the press and have attracted many fans.

In 2010-2011, his Affection for  Vienna, the music capital of the world, led him  to introduce his  the beauties of his Favorite city  which has been repeatedly selected as the best city in the world to live in, to Iranian compatriots . he founded  the Parsnews  Austria group  and the Parsnews Austria platform,  which initially only introduced the interesting sightseeing places in Vienna.

After the great  welcome of Iranians living in Vienna, this site became a base for information and entertainment of compatriots in Austria and finally all Iranians inside and outside Iran!

Still after so many years, despite the creation of various social networks, such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram…. Mehdi has been able , With a lot of effort and spending much of his  time, with his  sites that are a combination of  information & Entertainment (Infotainment) in  Farsi, English and German languages,  to maintain the interest of Iranians, Farsi speakers and German and English speakers.In all these years, he has not received any financial or non-financial assistance from any person or any organization, and all the expenses and efforts to maintain these sites have been the result of Mehdi Amiri’s personal efforts!
